You will get more done by connecting to source

For years I have been given a similar message in the books I have have read, the CDs I have listened to, church sermons and seminars I have attended.  The message is simple and definitely works.

In whatever you are doing connect to Source.

Source is called by different names depending on who you talk to; God, Higher Power and Universe are only a few.

Regardless of the name one gives to Source, when we are connected life flows and things seem to work with little, if any effort. Things make more sense and when there are bumps in our day, they are easier to work through.

This morning as I was going through my morning routine of looking out my kitchen window as I was brewing my tea I was reminded of something I read just last evening.

Before getting into the activity of your day connect to Source. Make a conscious effort to turn the day over to a power greater than yourself.

In a few short minutes I went from a state of thinking about what I had planned for the day to stopping, breathing, visualizing the flow of the day and connecting to Source. The shift was immediate. I became very centered, calm and had a sense of knowing. Knowing my day would be what it would be and all is as it should be.

My commitment for today is to take a few minutes several times throughout the day to become very conscious of my connection to Source.
