    Kathleen,

What an amazing post! Thank you so much for your heartfelt insights to what some deem as a very difficult topic.

I do tithe, when I have something to tithe on! But when I do, I feel so blessed and free. I don't think about the money because, like your experience, it does come back to me.

Being a lifelong church goer, I have tithed most of my life. When I couldn't give treasure, I would give my time and talents ~ of which I have in abundance.

Thanks again for such a lovely post.

    Peace and blessings,
    Carolyn

    Hello Carolyn,

Tithing our time and talents is such an incredible way to bless others. I believe it is a combination of time, talent and money that allows us so many blessings.

    Kathleen,
Tithing has been at the heart of controversy in churches I have attended. I now prefer to only give cash, so that I can tithe from the heart with anonymity. I love the feeling of letting go and sharing what I have been blessed with. Thanks for this great post.

You are so right about the controversy. Many people have felt pressure to tithe. My experience shows me that tithing is a gift from the heart, not from guilt.
