Recently I had the good fortune to facilitate a 2 ½ day experiential training on Prosperity and Abundance. It was an incredible experience that was an eye opener for all who participated, including me.
During one portion of the training I talked about avoiding limiting your thinking about where financial abundance can come from. Far too often people have a set belief on how much money they can generate and what avenues it comes from.
During one break I had a conversation with a woman who said, “I would love to think that I can attract money from different avenues, but I have limits on what I can make because my job pays only a certain amount.”
Her curiosity sparked when I invited her to consider that money could come from many avenues (some which we would never imagine).
I asked her to simply trust that there are unlimited avenues where money can come from and to be open to possibility.
Our conversation took place on Saturday morning. That afternoon I asked for input from any of the 50 people in the group who had any type of breakthrough or insight.
The woman I had spoken to earlier that day practically jumped from her seat. She couldn’t wait to share what happened when she went home for lunch.
In her mailbox was a letter from a company explaining they had overcharged her some time ago for their services. Included with the letter was a check for a tidy sum.
She was as elated as was I. Not only did she get money from an unexpected source, the timing of the experience was perfect for the point I had made earlier in the day to be validated for many in the room.
Granted, some might say the check arriving that day is merely a coincidence. Myself, I tend to believe (and know) that when we are open to possibility, we believe in something beyond what we can see, feel and touch, amazing experiences occur.
How do I know? Many years ago I lived in a state of constant lack. I could no more believe there were unlimited ways to attract money than I believed I could fly to the moon. I had so much lack that to even think of buying a cup of coffee was a stretch.
With over three decades of studying how the law of energy works, I now know that most limitations are simply a matter of our thinking.
Does that mean all we have to do is think our way into prosperity? Not at all. I do believe it begins with our thinking and our beliefs. It is in what we believe that we are open to possibility and have a keener sense of awareness of the miracles life holds.
It is also in our beliefs that we either choose to take certain actions that move energy in such a way that we seem to be a magnet for incredible experiences and blessings.
What are the blessings you are open to today?
