Today I was emailing back and forth with a woman who has a very serious illness. She wrote about how angels appear in our life. This got me to thinking about my first spiritual teacher from many years ago. Tamara taught me that angels come to us in many disguises.
Often it can be the homeless person we see on the street, or the maid at the hotel we are staying at, or the child who needs a friend to talk to. God allows us to show our kindness to every angel that crosses our path.
Angels are whispers from God that we are loved and the greatest gift we can offer at any given moment is to move in the space of love.
I wonder how often we miss the opportunity to show our love based on outward appearances of our angels.
How much would change if we treated every single person we come in contact with as an angel sent from God? Regardless of gender, education, physical appearance, income level, neighborhood they live in or any other outside measure we would treat everyone as an angel.
Be ready....there may be an angel crossing your path today.
