I suspected it was an issue of balance, but like a leaky roof that you think about only during a rainstorm I thought, "I need to do something about this." But, like the leaky roof syndrome as soon as I was done doing laundry the thought would take a back seat to whatever was next on my plate.
Today rather than repeat the same dance with myself, I fixed the problem. Actually, my mother in law and I fixed the problem.
This got me to thinking how similar this can be to life. We can be completely out of balance constantly doing The Dance.
When we finally get around to doing something about The Dance it can be a simple "less than a quarter inch" adjustment. And, as with the help of my mother in law, it's often easier to create the balance with the help of others.
Is there a Dance you do? Is there something that is out of balance and slight adjustments would get you well on your way to the balance you crave?
Whatever your Dance might be, today is the day you can make that 1/4 inch adjustment. Make a small adjustment each day to create the quality of life you want.
